On behalf of the organizing committee it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the International Conference of Acute Medicine to be held at Al Murooj Rotana in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from the 21st-22nd of October, 2016.


The two-day conference is designed for emergency care and internal medicine providers, featuring medical updates and management strategies on various subspecialties of acute medicine. Distinguished speakers from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, UK and expert physicians from the University Hospital Sharjah along with related institutions across the UAE have compiled a comprehensive program that aims to update delegates’ skills and knowledge in acute medicine. The conference will conclude through plenary sessions and diagnostic workshops.


The conference is of great interest to physicians from all areas including those involved with acute medical care and emergency medicine whilst additionally attracts physicians who require updates within their own specialty. The program has been designed to address doctors at all career levels including general practitioners, specialists, residents and trainees.
